This is a very rare Beatles 'collector's' album. I bought this vintage vinyl pressing of 21 via mail order back in the day. The label says 1975. This is a MELVIN RECORDS (MM02) pressing.

I am the original owner and have played it maybe three times (once to grade it the other day). This is a hard-to-find ORIGINAL boot LP from the 1970's.

I have stored it in a plastic sleeve since I got it. Buying albums like this back in the day was a tricky thing and they were rarely sealed. There were almost always some type of flaws, but that was the chance you took to get rare music. You could buy a vintage sealed one today and it may have more flaws than this one. Check the many photos.

I use GOLDMINE grading standards and have PLAYED the records to grade them:

DISC - NM *EXCEPT FOR  (played only 2 or 3 times) - *Some little bumps at some places in the vinyl.

Side One: I hear one in A Shot of Rhythm and Blues--about a dozen 'thwumps' in a row (does not skip on three turntables I have tried it on).

Side Two: At the very end of Suzy Parker and into Besame Mucho 12-13 'thwumps' in a row. And as What's the New Mary Jane gets to about the last 7 revolutions and fade-out it gets noisy. So you determine how that affects the grade in your eyes. No "It looks Mint, but I did not play it" here.

COVER - VERY GOOD   Glued on Back Cover sheet. Spine has some 'tight-splitting' (jagged breaks, no pcs. out). Ding'd a bit. Top left opened 5/8"--carefully glued. Bottom right was assembled no perfectly square (sinks in a little). Small 'tape pull?' on FC on Ringo's midriff. - check the Gallery larger photos! It was hard to get any boot LP's through the mail back in the 70's, etc. with NO mail damage. Even if I ordered multiple ones at the same time. And there was no returning unless the record was broken in transit or something was horribly wrong.

I am pretty obsessive, so I may point out more than I should for my own good, but it's my nature. Check my Feedback. Multiple wins can save on shipping! LP's are removed from their outer sleeve to help protect against edgewear and sent in plastic protective sleeve.
