Description

I've found yet more Beatles 7" picture records in my collection hoard so here we are again. I'm trying out a Kindle Fire for the camera work but not too sure about the definition quality.
1982 Parlophone R4949 *Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You*, 20th Anniversary Issue in the picture sleeve. Red label, mono with -2 matrix denoting this is the version with Ringo on drums (Ringo never truly forgave George Martin for using the session drummer Andy White on some of the recordings). Note the early photo of the boys duly suited and booted by Brian Epstein as told to lose the leather jackets and greasy hair but Ringo still has his 'rocker' quiff (maybe in protest!) at this time. The sleeve is intact and clean but shows ringwear and creasing. Disc has had minimal play if any and is flat and shiny with some light marks as seen under a bright light.
1983 Parlophone R4983 *Please Please Me / Ask me Why*, 20th Anniversary Issue in the picture sleeve which is in nice shape albeit with age related ringwear and slight creasing. In room light the record looks fine yet with some light scuffs and hairlines visible under the table lamp, probably due to storage over the years as the record looks unplayed in my opinion (as no spindle marks at the centres).
1983 Parlophone R4983 *Please Please Me / Ask me Why*, 20th Anniversary Issue but this time is a picture disc to complement the aforementioned. The vinyl is in nice shape with a healthy weight of 50g on the scale.
1982  Parlophone R6055 *Beatles' Movie Medley* in the picture sleeve which is strong and intact but with ringwear and light creasing at the mouth. The flat and shiny record looks fine in room daylight yet shows light storage scuffs and hairlines under the unforgiving bright light.
1988 Parlophone RP5675 *Lady Madonna / The Inner Light* which is yet another picture sleeved 20th Anniversary Issue. I mentioned before that John Lennon is pictured looking remarkably like John Sebastian of the The Lovin' Spoonful (or is it the other way round?). Strong intact sleeve with ringwear and creasing at the (top) mouth and a 90p Woolworth price sticker. The usual scuffs and hairlines on the flat and shiny vinyl.
99p start and the auction will run to the end.
