THE BEATLES 78 rpm A HARD DAY’S NIGHT Philippines 1964
One of the most sought after Beatles records in the market is being offered here...
THE BEATLES 78 RPM
(Made in the Philippines by Dyna Products, Inc. w/ catalogue #PAL-60197)
Side A: A Hard Day’s Night
Side B: Things We Said Today
The Beatles 78 rpm records were only manufactured and released in three countries. These are Argentina, India and Philippines. Those records were used for radio stations and juke boxes only.
"A HARD DAY’S NIGHT" is an early Lennon/McCartney song, principally written by John Lennon. It was released on the movie soundtrack of the same name in 1964 and was later released as a single, with "I Should Have Known Better" as its B-side. As you can see, the B-side of this Philippine pressed record is “Things We Said Today,” rest assured that this one is VARIANT and extremely RARE!
The song topped the charts in both U.K. and U.S. when it was released as a single. Together with its album, they all held the top position in their respective charts for a couple of weeks in August 1964, the first time any artist had done this. The song's success demonstrated that The Beatles were not a one-hit wonder.
Shellac in good condition with nice shiny gloss and a few harmless surface scratches. Nothing to worry about. It plays fine (see pics for other and label description).
You can never go wrong with this record. Don't pass this opportunity, you will be very hard pressed to find another one like this.
PAYPAL PAYMENTS ONLY PLEASE.
