A chance to own a truly superb first pressing copy of A Collection of Beatles Oldies. With: “The Gramophone co…” rim text, “ Sold in UK..” text under Parlophone Logo. No Stereo to the front Cover. Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.

GRADING
SLEEVE: EX
The sleeve is almost perfect save for a few laminate wrinkles to the front and on the rear flipbacks, a tiny bit of grime to the top flipback and gly written in small neat writing to the bottom of the rear of the sleeve. The edges are sharp and tru with no wear or rubbing. The spine is straight and flat with no breaks or rubbing. The front of the sleeve is beautiful and glossy with no damage whatsoever.
RECORD: EX
A couple of very light sleeve removal marks can be seen under 100w bright light. These do not sound. Even in the space between tracks there is no crackle. The record has been fully play tested and is an absolute pleasure with fantastic crispness and clarity. There is no crackle, there are no pops and there is no background noise of any sort(and, it goes without saying, no jumps or sticks).
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
