Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Hard Day's Night 12" 1964 RARE second press stereo Parlophone LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD+ condition!




VINYL:-
Visual:

  • Side 1 - there some hairlines and light scratches - some of them are lightly feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+. 
  • Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a large mark that goes over the label - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!! It is NOT feelable. 




Audio:
  • Audio is currently rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+!! Probably closer to VG+ than VG! I have played this record all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO JUMPS on my system!! There is some light background crackle present but it is mainly in between tracks and in the quieter passages. A deep clean could help with this - it's not a major problem and doesn't majorly affect the audio either! It is more noticeable on 'Tell Me Why' and 'When I Get Home' but it's not major and I'm just pointing it out to cover myself and to make sure no one is disappointed! The stereo mix is nice and loud with plenty of punch! Lies very flat and plays very well! 



Original EMI advertising inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition! There are NO SPLITS! There is some discolouration and light creases here and there but overall, a good example! 




The original 1964 small-sized STEREO flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition! The front of the sleeve retains all of it's original gloss and shine and looks great! There is some laminate creasing in places and slight discolouration to the top. The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with some light age-related staining and light discolouration. No graffiti or anything like that! Flipbacks are intact and tight although they are slightly discoloured. The spine is 100% readable! It does have some discolouration and light creasing towards the ends. 


Overall, a great example of this RARE stereo pressing that rarely turns up in such great playable condition!
