Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Hard Day's Night 12" 1964 MEGA RARE chubby stereo Parlophone LP vinyl' in overall EXCELLENT- condition!

It is very difficult to find a decent playable example of this record, let alone a GREAT example with a great mid-sized stereo sleeve! Early stereo Beatles pressings like this are very rare as the demand for mono records outweighed the demand for stereo records. Very hard to find so don't miss out! 




VINYL:-
Visual:

• Side 1 - light scratches and hairlines only. Nothing deep or feelable and looks great! Rated as EXCELLENT-. Label is EXCELLENT-.
• Side 2 - a few more marks than Side 1 but again, nothing feelable! Rated as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-. Label is EXCELLENT-. 

Audio:

• The audio is currently rated as EXCELLENT-!! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! There is some very light background crackle but it isn't overbearing and it never gets in the way! It can be heard more in the quieter parts of tracks but it's not a problem. A deep clean could help with this. The sparkling stereo audio is very crisp, punchy and loud! Original tonality is present and it sounds great!! There is a great amount of clarity present for such an old record. Lies very flat and plays very well! 

Original EMITEX inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. It does have quite  lot of discolouration to both the front and rear. However, there are NO SPLITS!! All sides are fully intact! I will send the record in a plain white inner sleeve to preserve the original. 




The original 1964 mid-sized STEREO flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition! The front of the sleeve retains all of it's original gloss and shine and looks great! There is some laminate creasing in places and slight discolouration to the top. Also, there is some cornerwear (particularly to the bottom left). The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with some light age-related staining and light discolouration. No graffiti or anything like that! Flipbacks are intact and tight although they are slightly discoloured. The spine is 100% readable and square! It does have some discolouration and light creasing towards the ends. 


Overall, a great example of this RARE stereo pressing that rarely turns up in such great playable condition!
