Condition:
Sleeve: EXCELLENT - This is a G&L flipback laminated sleeve, offered in quite superb condition. Spotlessly clean throughout, and with just a few barely noticable small creases around the edges. Good strong spine with bold title print, and the very lightest of scuffs to the opening corners. All of the flipback seams are beautifully intact.
Complete with orginal "EMITEX" paper lined inner sleeve, again in quite EXCELLENT condition.
Record: EXCELLENT :- The heavy vinyl has a deep sheen and is spotlessly clean. Even under the closest inspection, I can not find a single hairline or surface scuff. Frankly, it's as NEAR MINT as anything can get, and certainly a record some 47 years old.
Clean and bright labels, with just the lightest signes of spindle wear.
Personally checked for sound and quality - and it plays quite beautifully, the original MONO sound being something very special.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
