Condition:
Sleeve: VERY GOOD - This is a G&L flipback laminated sleeve. There is the usual creasing around the edges, and light scuffs tocorners. Good strong spine with bold title print. All flipback seams are beautifully intact, but you will note from the photos that there is an original record shop sticker on the rear and, although the photo does not pick it up, the original record price of "32/-" [32 shillings] is written in pencil top right corner. Could be removed, but I think it adds to its authenticity.
Generally very clean and with no unwanted damage, but the reverse does show grubby handling marks from use over the years. This is a 47 year old record, after all.
Complete with orginal poly lined EMITEX inner sleeve in fantastic condition, if a little creased on two corners. No splits and totally clean.
Record: EXCELLENT :- The heavy 150gm thick vinyl has a beautiful deep sheen, and is rightly graded very highly. Under very close examination I found 3 very small and light hairlines, but you can be assured that these have no adverse effect on playback.
Clean labels, with barely any signs of spindle wear. A very well cared for record.
Personally checked for sound and quality - and it plays beautifully throughout, with no skips or jumps.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
