Condition:

SLEEVE:  VERY GOOD - Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve in very good condition overall, but has slight damage to the bottom corner on the opening edge - particularly noticeable on the rear where the flipback seam is slightly damaged.  Otherwise very good with a strong spine and bold title print, and free of edge splits.    The rear does show some discolouration and some handling marks.opening edge to the right of Ringo's mouth.  The rear also shows some damage to the left hand edge of the bottom flipback seam, as well as some discolouration and handling marks.  Free of writing and stickers.

Please note that this offering COMES COMPLETE with the "EMITEX" poly lined inner sleeve which is in VERY GOOD - free of splits, writing and creases.

VINYL:  EXCELLENT - I have no hesitation is rating this vinyl very highly as it plays so well.  The heavy vinyl does show numerous very light wispy hairlines, but these are all light and superficial and not feelable.  I have listened to the album several times and, apart from the original MONO sound being superb, did not detect any skips or jumps -  just some light background noise between some tracks.   The labels are clean and bright and unmarked.

AN ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING IN MONO.  DEFINITELY ONE FOR THE COLLECTOR.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:

MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.  Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.  Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
