THE BEATLES - A HARD DAYS NIGHT
This exquisite UK mono pressing dates from 1964 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels include the 'SOLD IN UK SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITION,
'SEE PRICE LIST' and 'RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964', & have 'MADE IN Gt BRITAIN'
An 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label
FIRST PRESS
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper codes:
Vinyl weight: 158 g
Housed in an exceptional 'Ernest J. Day' London printed cover with a 'MONO' front indicator.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex...' poly-lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Vinyl : NEAR MINT
Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight, with just a couple of barely visible wispy paper Removal lines/ hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine directly beneath halogen light.
AUDIO : NEAR MINT
Amazing sound quality throughout.

A first class pair only a couple of spindle trails around each centre hole but only under a strong light side 2(See Photos)
Cover: NEAR MINT
The Cover is NEAR MINT looks like its been purchased recently let alone 54 years ago.
The high-gloss front panel is beautiful with no real scratching, disc impression, let alone any 'thumbnail' wrinkles or spine bends.
All corners are virtually unworn, even the most easily and frequently damaged lower right.
The exposed rear panel is nice and white & unblemished apart from smallest foxing under light and all of the delicate flipbacks are undamaged, apart from top right corner (see pics)
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clearly & fully worded.
Original Emitex Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
