Description
Welcome our Auction!
On offer today is a VERY GOOD+ copy of The Beatles "ABBEY ROAD"!
This is a genuine 1969 APPLE 1st pressing of The Beatles final LP complete with original inner sleeve and the very rare sleeve and label that omits "Her Majesty" from the track listing! and the wonderful thing is that the record and sleeve are both in VERY GOOD+ condition!
Sleeve Condition : VG+
Record Condition : VG+
Label Condition : EX
Matrix No : Yex 749-2 / Yex 750-1
Overall condition is great!
The Fully Laminated Garrod + Lofthouse Sleeve is in wonderful condition for its age though it does have slight creases to three corners of it but with this particular LP it is a very common problem due to the thin cardboard used to make it, great thing is though unlike most copies you see which generally have terrible storage wear to the front and back, This one shines like new with no rips, seam splits! A very nice example!
The Record really gleams amazingly like new and the only issue is that there is a 2 inch mild scratch on side 2 which looks much worse than it is having play tested the record on both sides for playback quality and the great thing is that the mark 2 little pops "Carry that weight"! But that's due to the high quality deep groove 1st pressing that it is! And apart from that, the record just has signs of taking it out and putting it back in the inner sleeve for which is in wonderful condition!
A very rare opportunity here to pick up this gem of an LP DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!
