THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD 1969 UK Apple Records Drain Sleeve PCS 7088 LP
THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD: 1969 UK Press, Apple Records – PCS 7088. This version is the "first label, revised cover" version. Dark green labels with a whole apple on the A-side label and a half, sliced-open apple on B-side. The labels have the "(An E.M.I. Recording)" text on two lines and small "33 1/3" text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with a small ℗ symbol.
The listening grade is G (visible scratches and hairlines). While listening, I noticed a few skips on "Come Together" (this track has the worst scratch), otherwise it's still quite pleasant with sounds in the background, often closer to VG).
Cover is VG (slightly raised laminate, some marks but still solid) Rare version of the cover with visible grid so called "Drain" Cover on the bottom edge. Plain inner sleeve. Matrixes: YEX 749-2 / YEX 750-1.
