OK, having read through other descriptions of this album here on eBay, I realize that this album is one of the rare ones. It has all the attributes that make it a very early first pressing, the stamped YEX 749 & 750 in the matrix and on the label.  It has no mention of "Her Majesty" anywhere.  The cover is laminated and printed by Garrod & Lofthouse, with the misaligned apple on the back cover. 

It was recorded in 1969, a year before I went to university in the UK.  I was a Stones girl, Led Zeppelin and the Who albums were my choices for how I would spend my hard earned coin.  Back then, albums cost around a couple of pounds, and for a days work (Usually as a Saturday shop girl), you got one pound for eight hours hard slog! so you spent your money wisely. When I went to Uni, my friends and I would bring our records to be played on an ancient Stereo unit, stand alone with the speakers in the bottom of the box. This album was either left, or swapped for something else, and I've had it ever since, hence, not my name on the cover and label, even though my sister later tried to appropriate it by writing her name on the cover when I brought it home from college one holiday! (It didn't work).  I, of course later came to appreciate what musical geniuses these guys were together, and have for sale the blue album that I did buy myself!  Here's what you need to know: 

• The cover is in good condition for its age, lamination is still intact. There's a couple of slight tears on the back cover by the opening, bottom left. The front has a few slight wrinkles  at the top edge.  The spine is worn, with an opening in the middle. There are a couple of very slight bottom corner creases.
• The inner sleeve is in great condition, not much wrong with it. A little bit of wear at the opening edge. 
• The vinyl is in excellent condition, there are no scratches, deep or otherwise.  there is a smudge on side A, but the mar is slight and on the surface. Side B has another smudge, horizontally across the final cut, the long set of song beginning with Golden Slumbers. Again, the mar is on the surface and not a scratch. 
• I can't give you a play by  play, my turntable is out of commission, but I am confident that the vinyl will play beautifully. 
• So there you have it, a rare early pressing with all the attributes needed. Not pristine, we were college kids with a lot more on our minds than preserving albums for posterity. But in pretty good nick nonetheless.

• For albums, I will mail in a white album mailing box, strengthened, bubble wrapped, album out of the covers and secure enough that it won't move.

• If you need to return an item, please contact me first through eBay, and I’ll do my best to resolve any issues for you.  I will accept the item back, but you will have to pay for shipping the item back to me.
