Description
THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD - UK VINYL LP 1969 PCS 7088, 2/1 - superb
This version is the "first label, revised cover" version:
Dark green labels with a whole apple on the A-side and a half, sliced-open apple on B-side. The labels have the ("An E.M.I. Recording") text on two lines and small "33 1/3" text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with a small ℗ symbol. The B-side label does not have "Her Majesty" credits. The labels are quite dark, although the actual shade of green varies between copies.
Comes in a fully laminated cover without flaps on the back side. The front cover has the drain showing, the rear cover has the Apple logo aligned with the text.

This Copy: Matrix / Runout (Runout side A variant 1): YEX 749-2 Matrix / Runout (Runout side B variant 1): YEX 750-1
This is a brilliant copy of this release.
The outer sleeve is in excellent condition, very little sign of wear/usage, slight creases only; a fantastic spine , clear, readable, and really shiny all over the laminated cover
It has an original plain white inner with correct patent numbers as per above reference on DC , this is clean, no writing, some very slight discolouring
The labels are first class , no heavy marks or pen, some light scratching right in centre if you look hard enough!
The vinyl does show signs of being taken in and out of the sleeve, there are a few hairlines, again, really only on close inspection
It plays superbly! Side one I would say is near mint. Side two does have a few light crackles and there are light ticks for a few seconds at the start of Sun King. A really enjoyable vinyl playback and a fantastic copy!
Will combine postage for UK #More vinyl listed please take a look
