Description
Here's one for the truest of ardent Beatle fans. Just sliced open one of two mailing packages unopened from the early 1970s to see what was inside. It's the Beatles Alpha Omega Volume 1 as you see it. And in the other that was with it - almost certainly Volume 2 with four more Beatle Alpha Omega albums from the TV ad per inquiry spots of 1972 or possibly this was another set of Volume 1. Have a little mystery in your eBay auctions as the second mailing box will come to you absolutely unopened. When will you ever get a chance at mint The Beatles Alpha Omega records again in your life? Why would you want them in the first place? That's right - to be different. They weren't sent with free shipping 50 years ago from Garden Grove, California. And yet I do that now in the U.S. with media rate shipping. Actual postage elsewhere.
Keep in mind that the records are without the cover seen in other releases as here they were just moving the vinyl using the cheapest possible method.
Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of this substandard The Beatles Alpha Omega Volume 1 and Volume ???? television offer with unused vinyl versions - as close as you'll ever get to the master tapes of the Beatles' Alpha Omega factory other than possibly the master tapes of the Beatles songs that actually do exist. Two shipping packages one that has been opened and one that is still sealed from 1972.
