THE BEATLES AUSSIE MEGA RARE MISPRINT/POLYDOR=MY BONNIE
This was the sixth Beatle single to be released in this country and the first on Polydor who were holding earlier Beatle material with Tony Sheridan . I guess in their enthusiasm with their unexpected goldmine, in Feb 1964 they overlooked a few like this one at the beginning of the run that had misprinted labels. Both labels are identical (although the b side plays as “the Saints”) In forty years of collecting, I can only remember seeing one other copy-and that was over thirty years ago. So it’s mega –rare and plays without fault. The (a) side is visually EXCELLENT and the (b) side is EXCELLENT- . The labels are EXCELLENT. Glossy vinyl. In a company jacket.
CONDITION WISE:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD: played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks. .
