Description

THE BEATLES: Abbey Road Limited Edition Picture Disc 1978 Apple 5C P062-04243 Vinyl Stereo LP  

The disc is in very good condition. It has not been played for about 30 years. There is light surface sound on the track run ins and quieter sections which does not detract from the overall reproduction quality*. This is the original cover design which is in very good condition. Please see the photographs.  

*Records of this age however well stored will collect a certain amount of dust. As far as possible I carefully remove any surface dust with a carbon fibre brush and lens cleaning cloth and then describe the condition of the disc after a test play.  

I have achieved impressive enhanced reproduction quality almost eliminating any surface noise on records of a similar age by a thorough wet clean with a solution of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. 

This LP was test played on a Garrard 401 turntable with SME arm and Shure V15 cartridge/stylus with a tracking force of 1 gram.
