Description
Here is a very rare variant of the September 1969 UK first-pressing Abbey Road, in gorgeous condition. This is the version with the Apple logo on the back cover misaligned to the text of the Side 1 tracklist (see pic #3 above), and the final track title listed simply as "The End"—without "Her Majesty"—on both the cover (see pic #4) and the B-side label (pic #5). The vinyl is in excellent condition with some fine sleeve marks visible under bright light; playback is excellent throughout with some light crackle in the silent groove at the start of each side. The cover is likewise excellent, with just a touch of normal shelf wear (see pics #7 through 11). Gorgeous copy. The stamped matrix reads follows: YEX 750-1 and YEX 749-2.
