THE BEATLES Alpha Omega Vol. 2 VINYL 4-LP Box SET 1973 (ATRBH, TV Products) USA

  • As pictured.
  • Tested, in good working condition.
  • Visible shelf wear on outer box but still intact.
  • Normal browning on inner jackets
  • Normal ring wear on each record.
  • Cover is a variation (w/o the "alpha & omega" symbols and rearranged colors on the cover) manufactured by TV Products, based in Ohio.
  • TRACK LIST ON THE 3rd photo (listed in a different order vs. the LP labels).
NOTE (from a website resource):

In 1972 a small company in New Jersey brazenly flaunted copyright statutes and sold a huge four-disc set of well-known Beatles songs – even advertising the collection on television and radio.

The collection was being sold by a company called Audiotape Inc. and was titled ΑΩ, or The Beatles Alpha Omega — and it was quite the curiosity. Containing 4 LPs (and also available on 8-track), it collected 60 Beatles songs including several current (at the time) Beatles solo tracks. The tracks were arranged more or less in alphabetical order (some may have been shuffled around due to time concerns), and edited haphazardly.

The set was apparently successful enough to warrant a second volume. Then TV Products based in Cleveland manufactured re-pressings which were hardly coordinated with the "Audio Tape" releases leading to a number of variations i.e. Alpha and Omega symbols omitted, "Black and White" cover and the rearranged color scheme on the cover.
