From Odeon Records (1 C 062-04 363 D), this is THE BEATLES BEAT by JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE and RINGO, a German pressing, circa 1964; issued again in 1969. The date of this pressing is in question: the "062" portion of the stock number was NOT the later German pressing which showed "072" instead. Beatles' authorities tell me the original '64 issue was on a green Odeon label. Unfortunately we can't verify the colour of the label because the album is SEALED. However, if you'll glance at the front cover, upper left corner, you'll find the Odeon logo within a green square. What does this mean? I haven't a clue! So we'll list this LP as if it were a 1969 German pressing and if it turns out to be an original from '64, so much the better for the winning bidder!
Again, it is still SEALED in loose wrap, flawless, MINT; almost impossible to find in this condition. We have housed the record in a snug Mylar sleeve for the ultimate in protection.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: We have an $8.00 handling fee which covers a portion of packing materials as well as time spent with Customs paperwork. We use top-of-the-line packing because your box is traveling a great distance and we want it to arrive intact and undamaged; in addition, Customs paperwork is time consuming. Please be aware this is one fee per order, that is, if you buy one record it’s $8.00, if you purchase 100 records it’s still just $8.00. We could use cheaper materials and most sellers do but it’s important to us that you get the record in the same condition as it is when it leaves our hands. Some say we lose sales because of this fee.
