PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL ONLY POST TO A UK ADDRESS. DUE TO THE CURRENT VIRUS PANDEMIC THAT IS AFFECTING MUCH OF THE WORLD, I AM UNABLE TO OFFER A SERVICE TO OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS.

I APOLOGISE FOR THIS AND HOPE THAT I WILL BE ABLE TO REINTRODUCE THIS SERVICE AS SOON AS IS REALISTICALLY POSSIBLE.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE:

The most recent mailers that I use for single cover lps and 12" singles are extremely strong however they are very difficult to get the LPs out from so I now slit one side of the mailer and tape it back up. In that way it will enable the purchaser to gain access to the record more easily and to avoid damaging it in the process!!

I WILL DESCRIBE ALL THAT I CAN SEE AND SHOW YOU PLENTY OF PHOTOGRAPHS SO THAT YOU CAN REALLY ASSESS CONDITION FOR YOURSELF.

MY FEEDBACK COMMENTS SHOULD REASSURE YOU OF MY HONEST DESCRIPTIONS (ANY DEFECTS WILL BE STATED SO WILL YOU SHOULD NOT BE DISAPPOINTED UPON RECEIPT OF THE ITEM), FAIR POSTAGE RATES, EXCELLENT PACKAGING AND PROMPT DELIVERY UPON CLEARED PAYMENT BEING RECEIVED.

I PRIDE MYSELF IN BEING THOROUGH WITH MY DESCRIPTIONS BUT IF I MISS ANY SERIOUS FLAWS THEN I DO OFFER A FULL REFUND OF THE BID UPON THE RETURN OF THE ITEM IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND PROVIDING IT IS IN THE SAME CONDITION AS IT LEAVES ME.

LASTLY PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO ASK FOR ADDRESS CONFIRMATION WHERE EBAY SAY THAT AN ADDRESS IS UNCONFIRMED.....SO IF YOU ARE THE SUCCESSFUL WINNER OF THIS AUCTION AND NEED TO, PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR ADDRESS AT THE TIME OF MAKING YOUR PAYMENT. THIS WILL AVOID ANY UNNECESSARY DELAYS IN ME SENDING THE ITEM.

I WILL GIVE YOU AS MUCH DETAIL IN THE FORM OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND TEXT AS I THINK YOU

A NEED TO JUDGE ON CONDITION.

The BEATLES and AN EARLY MONO PRESSING OF THEIR  SOUGHT AFTER SECOND LP, "BEATLES FOR SALE ".

Released by Parlophone in 1964.

Catalogue number: PMC 1240

Gatefold sleeve with centre opening accessed by flipping over the front, single card section.

Mono printed to the front top right corner.

RECORD:

THE VINYL is graded to be in an EXCELLENT+ CONDITION.

Whilst the record has obviously been played a reasonable amount of times in the past (due to the spindle marking around the spindle hole), the record has been exceptionally well looked after by any previously owner.

There is little evidence of wear and only a few light marks.

There are two light scratches to the first track to side one. These may cause the odd click although the heavyweight nature of the vinyl might prevent surface noise.

Side 2 has a few light marks that are parallel to the grooves.

Record is NOT warped and will play exceptionally well.

Matrix Details:

XEX 503 - 3N         3      TP

XEX 504 - 3N         2      RRR

MAIN SLEEVE

The main sleeve is graded as being in EXCELLENT+ CONDITION.

The sleeve construction is as you would expect for this pressing, so laminated card was used to the outside of the gatefold sleeve with a central opening access by opening up the sleeve. The inner card is not laminated.

The front section of the sleeves is of a single card with the rear section being double thickness to provide the means to store the album.

FRONT: There are a few small spine and edge wear to the top and bottom as the laminate is not dressed around the edge. There is also a light scratch, light ringwear and the odd small crease. These are all light.

REAR:

There are a few edge creases and one more obvious crease to the top left corner. creases (see photograph).

There are NO tears NO writing and NO repairs.

INSIDE TO THE GATEFOLD.

There are no issues to note.

The SPINE is in EXCELLENT CONDITION as shown. The details of the lp can be fully read and really clearly read.

There are some small spine creases and some moderate wear evident to the top corner of the spine that links to the corner wear already mentioned.

INNER SLEEVE:

The sleeve (that I would think to be the original to the record) is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.

This is a film-lined paper inner sleeve with some text referring to an "EMITEX " cleaning cloth indicating EMI (and the inside of the main cover suggesting the use of the EMITEX cleaning material).

There is one 40mm seam split but there are NO TEARS, NO writing and NO serious tanning.

There is moderate amount of light wrinkling

The RECORD will be sent wrapped in plastic and will be sent in an lp card mailer.
