ISSUED BY WORLD RECORD CLUB AS A MAIL-ORDER ITEM IN 1981
They have been played once only and are in virtual MINT condition. (I have owned them from new - and I take care of my records!)
In addition to the record set this offer also includes:-
- the LYNTONE flexi disc promoting the collection (LYN 8982). Also in a leaflet promoting The Beatles. This is a rarity itself!
- a coupon addressed to me, proving that I have had the set from 1981
- SUMMER STARS - a large fold-out sheet advertising this - and other - collections.
- The History of Rock - advertising the set as a special offer from them. This 8 page leaflet lists all the songs (from "Love me do" to "Her Majesty")
- World Records Guarantee sheet
- last - and maybe least - I have a hand-written sheet (in my handwriting!) - showing the misprints. There were a few wrong dates and composers. I noted these down at the time.
Altogether, this has to be a unique set in SUPERB condition. Please see the photos to get a rough idea of the above.
