If you're a true collector, then you know what this is and its rarity:  This is an original, first-issue, Beatles Black Album (alternate takes and rehearsal material surrounding production of the White Album and others).

This is NOT a Japanese re-issue, red-wax issue, Swingin’ Pigs re-issue, EVA re-issue.  This is the ORIGINAL, first-issue, black vinyl, with the controversial (and much coveted) “Dog with Gun to the Head” labels.  

Sleeve has significant ring wear, creases and one badly bent corner (upper left). Corners are dull but there are no splits and/or tears. Folded poster is in excellent shape.  Vinyl is in really nice condition... glossy and no spindle marks. There are a few visual scuffs but records play very nicely.

Review: This is a b**t 3 vinyl record set, which is a look alike version of the White album. It is a real neat packaging concept. It has "THE BEATLES" in raised letters on the front cover. It is completely black. On the inside jacket, there are four different photos of the Beatles, and it even has a large poster, set up the same as what was in the White album. Instead of the words to the songs printed on the back side, it is written conversations.  It did not come with the four single pictures. The music is from rehearsals, with conversations mixed in. The sound is pretty good compared to some similar productions.
