Description
The BEATLES. Boot LP. 9 Songs. 7 are Beatles. 3 Live songs from Top of the Pops! Shout from Around the Beatles 1964. Awesome. Sie liebt dich 45. You know my name 45. And the mysterious “Mary Jane”, also known as What a Shame Mary Jane, or What’s the New Mary Jane!! When this boot was released in early 70s it was the ONLY Beatles version available of some of these tracks, thus the reason to bootleg! Capitol did not release these tracks till Rarities in 1977, and Anthology in 90s. I was awed by their version of Shout, had never heard it, did not know when it was recorded, but I could tell it was them. Whereas Both People Say and I’m Walk-in’ were clearly not the Beatles, not even good sound slimes!! I finally searched today on “45cat” discography site and discovered the source of both, a minor 45 from 1965 by “John and Paul” out of California. Vinyl condition is Goldmine EX vinyl, with VG+ labels, song titled written by me in 70s. The Sleeve and labels have corrections written in ink to show the correct song info. And I corrected info I thought was incorrect (boots were frequently wrong). It looks okay by my standard, but you decide!! By now we all realize the value of any Beatles Recording. Preserve everything, don’t destroy anything, clean them up, sort them, compile them, release them in any semi-organized way anyone can think of and, presto, another great album or CD, legit or boot! Then mix them up and do it again!! Anyways, like true art, they’re great no matter which way you see/hear them! Especially the full size covers!! The vinyl is lightly played, maybe a half dozen times. Enjoy!! See images, actual sale item. And added images of the rare “John and Paul” single. Seller is 50+ year collector and keeper of all things Beatles related. Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. All purchases ship for $5 total so browse for others with no added ship charges. Best. Beatle Lew.
