Description

Up for auction is a nice copy of "The Beatles Christmas Album" which was originally issued to members of The Beatles' Fan Club in 1970 on Apple records (SBC 100).

I've owned this copy since the late 1970s, never played it, archived since then.

Cover is in very nice condition, with hardly any signs of previous wear or handling.  Seams are strong, no splits.  Corners are sharp but a couple have tiny bumps, not serious.  No ring wear, no writing.  Well-preserved.  Grade the cover Near Mint (NM).

The vinyl looks very nice, retains its original shine and gloss.  No obvious scratches or scuffs.  Side Two has a couple pressing blips and smudge-like spots, but they play through fine on my turntable.  May play with some light surface noise here and there, common for this particular unauthorized pressing.  Labels are good, though they have some bubbling from the manufacturing process, and a few small chip losses (see photo).  Overall, I'd grade this record as VG+ (Very Good Plus).
