AN AWESOME ESTATE FIND - THIS GUY WAS A COLLECTOR OF ALL THINGS BEATLES - I PLAYED THIS ALBUM - IT DOES NOT SKIP, ETC - PLAYS PERFECTLY - THE VINYL IS EXCELLENT PLUS, JUST NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING - THE JACKET HAS SCUFFING AT THE CORNERS/EDGES, A SLIGHT CREASE AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER & A WEE BIT OF BUBBLING IN THE PAPER AT THE OPENING - NO TEARS OR DAMAGE....JUST A BIT OF SHELF WEAR - COMES TO YOU IN A CLEAR PLASTIC JACKET COVER - I COPIED THE FOLLOWING INFO FROM WIKIPEDIA.....
In December 1970, in the wake of the band's break-up, the UK fan-club sent out a compilation LP of all seven recordings, entitled From Then to You. The master tapes having been mislaid, the LP was mastered from copies of the original flexi discs.[13] In the US, the seven messages were issued as The Beatles' Christmas Album sent out by the fan-club around springtime 1971.[14] It was the first time the 1964 and 1965 messages had been made available in the US.[14] With no new recording, the LP served to remind that the Beatles were no more, but had the advantage of durability over the original flexi discs.
