The Beatles : The Beatles Collection 13LP Box Set 1982 (UK)

This very collectable box set is in superb condition and there are no obvious marks or scratches on any of the 13 records.  It is clear they have hardly been played - some have no spindle wear and a number of them just have a faint trace on one label.  The 'White' Album is the only one that has 3/4 small spindle traces on each side.  There is a little faint 'mottling' on this particular album but having played a number of passages I can confirm it has no impact on the audio, it is very faint.

Nearly all of the glossy laminated covers are in pristine condition.  Only the 'Abbey Road' album has a small split on the top edge but the others are more or less 'as new'.  The 'White' Album does have one very small faint mark on the right edge of the front cover and this is on the area that the laminate does not quite stretch to.  It is rare to find them in this condition and all the spines and corners are all in superb shape also.  The inner sleeves have no splits either and no marking, they are immaculate.  They are all date coded '81 apart from Rubber Soul and the Rarities one which are dated 4/80 and 11/80 respectively.

The blue imitation leather-cardboard box has been very well preserved and has only very minimal wear.  The opening section and top flap are still firmly attached which is again is a rarity.  The embossed title and the gold 'signatures' are in perfect condition.  The box itself is unmarked and all corners are still very strong and clean.  The left side of the top edge has only a minor amount of 'creasing' and hopefully you can see how minor on the photos!  The bottom edge / spine has some light rubbing only but overall it is certainly in lovely condition.

All the relevant inserts are of course included and they are in pristine condition.

This edition is I believe an early repress from 1982.  The labels have the 'All Rights Of The Producer....' text around the rim and all of the records, bar the first three, have HTM etching on the run outs which obviously relates to the cutting engineer Harry T. Moss - the most famous of them all!

Postage & Packaging

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
