Notes          

'Corrected matrix' on side 1 reads 'YEX 14[crossed out 3 with]2-1'.

Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. laminated front and back cover, with small “stereo” on front gatefold cover. Inside flipback.

Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter. Includes “Sold in U.K. subject…” text and "? 1964." This label used between summer 1965 and summer 1969.

Discs came in sepia EMI LP advertising inner sleeve including Beatles 'Sgt Pepper's' LP and Pink Floyd's Piper at the Gates Of Dawn which had, of course, been released by the time this repressing was made as well as Scaffold's Live At The Queen Elizabeth Hall which was released in 1968.

LP jacket and label list Side 1/Track 7 as "Kansas City" (Lieber-Stoller).

CONDITION

The Vinyls NEAR MINT

On initial visual inspection the playing surface looks SUPERB, LOVELY, GLOSSY AND MIRROR LIKE SHINE I can only see ONLY ONE TINY VERY FEINT hairline under a strong light !!! Any marks that could possibly be seen under a stronger light would be caused by the vinyl been slid in and out of its sleeve! Importantly There is definitely NO needle scratches or audio sounding marks that I heard at all  !!!!!

A STUNNING example of this RARER STEREO VARIANT from 1968. SUPERB !!!

IN MY OPINION IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO BETTER THIS VINYL UNLESS SEALED AND UNPLAYED, AMAZING AFTER OVER HALF A CENTURY !!!

The Audio Quality NEAR MINT

I have played this through track for track at very loud volume on a top REGA system,  the audio is awesome! 

Crystal clear and vibrant through out, with NO distortion or any signs of groove wear at all  !!!! 

Certainly NO clicks pops or jumps!!  As good as it gets in my opinion !! 

THIS AUDIO IS RATED AT THE VERY TOP ON ALL FREQUENCIES! 

GRADED AS NEAR MINT!! 

UNBELIEVABLE FOR A VINYL THAT IS 53 YEARS OLD !!!!! 

The Labels:  NEAR MINT

These are super ! Bright and clean ONLY ONE OR TWO SPINDLE LINES can be seen on each side, angled in strong light but concentrated around the centre hole only.

Confirming this has definitely been played VERY sparingly since 1968 ,

Please note! i am highly critical about the audio quality on my records as it is my prime interest above rarity!

This plays awesome you will not be disappointed.

This is the original GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE Laminated TRI flip back Printed cover , in superb condition!! nice clean glossy appearance front and rear !!

NO RIPS OR NASTY NAMES WRITTEN ON ETC 

 RICH IN COLOUR  Super FULLY LEGIBLE spine 

Being ultra critical , VERY Slightest foxing on

rear but thats it, please see pics to confirm

otherwise would be graded as NEAR MINT

again one of the best ive seen for a long time and always stored in dust cover

The original Advertising Inner Sleeve Near MINT

This is the original EMI advertising inner sleeve correct inner sleeve

 NO splits or tears, just very light minimal creases, lovely !!!

NEMS ORIGINAL CLEAR DUST BAG,  IS CREASED AND SHOWS ITS AGE, BUT NO SPLITS, FULLY LEGIBLE WORDING BUT WAS REPLACED MANY YEARS AGO WITH A MODERN VERSION BUT KEPT THIS VINYL PRISTINE IN THE EARLY YEARS. KEPT SAFELY FOR AUTHENTICITY OF PURCHASE IN LIVERPOOL, WHERE IT ALL BEGAN FOR THE BEATLES, A TRUELY STUNNING RECORD AND A PIECE OF MUSIC HISTORY. DO NOT MISS OUT !!!
