Rare 1964 South African first MONO press 14-track LP of The Beatles’ For Sale LP (PMCJ 1240) pressed on the plum old-school Parlophone label.
The gatefold sleeve is in VG++ condition and is one of the better sleeves you’ll get for this LP, as most are often found in far less desirable shape. Legible, sharp spine ; solid build on the cover etc. with beautiful inner gate-fold LP jacket. I can confidently say I haven't seen much better for this sleeve in the last few years. The only small defect is very very faint wear on the left half of the inside gate-fold. This is an exceptional cover that can continue to be appreciated for another 50 years!!. Overall rating for the cover = VG++.
The vinyl is also in VG condition. There’s a vivid lustre on the LP under bright inspection but with light scuffs scattered here and there on both sides. Still very good though. The centre labels are VG+, light spindle wear on Side 2 only.
A great addition for 60’s vinyl music and especially Beatles’ collectors worldwide and a seldom find in very respectable condition indeed.
