ORIGINAL 1965 1ST PRESSING LP
CAT. NO PMC 1255
Format: Mono
Master Matrices: XEX 549-2/ XEX 550-2
Sleeve: Original sleeve in a Very Good condition retaining its structure. Very clean with no writing imprints etc. The laminate is still glossy, colourful and uncreased. The spine is intact and has readable text. The opening side is flat. Has lasted remarkably well. Has patches of discolouration on the rear of the sleeve and flip-backs.
Inner Sleeve: Original EMItex tracing paper lined inner sleeve with the Made I’m Great Britain text but correctly omitting the ‘Patents Applied For’ text. No faults.
The Vinyl: In Very Good Conditon. The surfaces are smooth and groove wear free, still projecting a bright pressing shine on both sides. Clean vinyl showing play use in terms of light sweeping marks superficial to the surfaces, but nothing at all feelable, no scuffs, no warps. The item has received fair use but has not been handled badly and is still a decent example.
Lays completely flat on the turntable, heavyweight Sixties vinyl.
The Labels: Excellent condition. A little wear to the spindle perimeter, but minimal spindle location lines/ marks, or writing etc.

The Audio: An Excellent sounding copy. Plays smoothly from start to finish on each side with immense detail and crisp and clear vocals, sounds far better than it appears as the vinyl surfaces are not affected by the light marks. No interruption or defects over the audio. There is only what you would expect to be noticeable in terms of the occasional tick in the quieter parts. A strong mono bass with no crackle, no jumps, no skips, no pops or sticks.
