Description
THE BEATLES
HELP!
CAT. NO PCS 3071
Format: Stereo
Master Matrices YEX 168-1/ YEX 169-1
This copy of help is one of the first off the pressing machines and into the store on the first day of release on 6 August 1965.
Sleeve: Excellent Condition, very neat and tidy retaining its structure. No record ring-wear and barely any laminate creases. The spine and edges are completely intact and the opening side edge is neat and flat. A couple of very minor corner bumps to an otherwise very fine sleeve.
Inner Sleeve: Original EMI inner sleeve. Retains full structure. Has the ‘Made in England’ text. This is the correct tracing paper lined inner as it doesn’t have ‘Patents Applied For’ printed on it.
The Vinyl: The vinyl is Very Good Plus. It has a bright black pressing sheen all over with no groove wear, no scuffs, no warps, no dinks, no scratches. There is barely any sign of play, even under halogen light there is nothing which stands out, only a fair amount of non-obtrusive hairline marks.
Lays completely flat on the turntable.
The Labels: The labels are Excellent. There is some minor spindle wear and some spindle lines.
KT Tax code still bold on Side 2
Mothers/ Stampers combinations:
Side 1 - 1 G
Side 2 - 1 P
The Audio: There are no distortions over the audio. An occasional light tick in the quieter parts and inbetweens. Plays perfectly from beginning to end.
