Description
Original 1st pressing version of the Beatles 1965 album HELP! The first pressings of this album were on the black Parlophone label with yellow and silver print as shown here. The wording along the perimeter of the label also starts with 'The Gramophone Co Ltd..' and 'sold in the U.K.....' wording under the yellow Parlophone print. The matrix numbers are XEX 549-2/XEX 550-2.
The outer flipback picture sleeve is in VGC - strong and flat with few signs of storage. There are some minor dirt marks due to its age on the back cover and a little creasing along the spine, which is intact and fully readable. Very little scuffing and a small tear that has been repaired to one of the flipbacks, as shown in the picture and a light Sellotape residue along the opening back cover edge.
The record is in VGC - surface marks and light scratches from previous play but nothing that affects the nice quality of sound this record has.
Original 'Emitex' inner with tracing paper lining.
I grade all my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records unless they are in near mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
The record will be cleaned by myself and packaged in a protective plastic cover and then posted in a custom cardboard record mailer with a cardboard stiffener.
All items posted will require a signature to ensure safe delivery, regardless of stated postage costs. If shipping abroad I will send an invoice with the price of the item and the cost of the cheapest tracked and signed postage option. Please do not pay until you have received the invoice.
