Description
THE BEATLES, HELP!, ORIGINAL 1965 UK PARLOPHONE MONO LP, EXCELLENT, NICE COPY!
The Beatles – Help!Help! is the fifth studio album by the Beatles and the soundtrack to their film of the same name. It was released on 6 August 1965. Seven of the fourteen songs, including the singles "Help!" and "Ticket to Ride", appeared in the film and took up the first side of the vinyl album. The second side included "Yesterday", the most-covered song ever written. The album was met with favourable critical reviews and topped both the British and the US charts.
As far as I know this is a 1st mono pressing. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject to resale…” text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With KT tax code on the side one label. The sleeve is the front laminated, flipback, “Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending” outline mono cover. See condition below.
Side One: Help!; The Night Before; You've Got To Hide Your Love Away; I Need You; Another Girl; You're Going To Lose That Girl; Ticket To Ride.
Side Two: Act Naturally; It's Only Love; You Like Me Too Much; Tell Me What You See; I've Just Seen A Face; Yesterday; Dizzy Miss Lizzy.
The album is on Parlophone Records, PMC 1255. Matrix side one: XEX 549-2 (stamped). Matrix side two: XEX 550-2 (stamped).
Released in 1965. UK pressing. Mono.
See photos for more info.
Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that can only be seen under bright light that does not affect the audio in any way and a light scuff (see last photo) that doesn’t affect the audio, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle, it plays with a clear punchy mono sound and it sounds great).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that can only be seen under bright light that does not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle, it plays with a clear punchy mono sound and it sounds great).
Cover (front laminated, flipback): excellent (has a few very light laminate edge creases on the front, very light aging at opening edge on back, top sleeve!).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. Payment strictly by PayPal only. Postal discounts available for multiple purchases - Please email for details. 859 (GS 7.0.21 (859))
