Description

THE BEATLES - HELP - UK 1ST PRESS MONO - PMC 1255. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class. I am selling off my late fathers Beatles LP for my mother so please take a look at my other items. I will combine postage where possible. Any questions please ask. I have taken the information for this LP from the internet as I know nothing about LP's. If I have posted something clearly wrong please let me know.

From looking at the LP the condition of the LP would appear to be good. It has not been played in at least 25/30 years as I don't recall Dad every playing any LP's and he didn't have an LP player since at least the mid 90's. The condition of the cover would also appear to be good, some small denting at the edges but otherwise in good condition with no marks and only a couple of very small tears along the edge.

According to the website thebeatles-collection.com this LP is a First pressing. August 6, 1965. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 549-2; Side 2: XEX 550-2 (see photos). This is a Variation A LP. For the first labels used Time New Roman font. Small “The Beatles” band name on both sides of the label. On side 1 the “Northern Songs, NCB” credit appears below the band name.
