Capitol SMAS-2386
US VERSION – GATEFOLD COVER
US issue of the 1965 12-track stereo vinyl LP on the lime green Capitol label, a short lived design only used between September 1969 and January 1971. Housed in a gatefold cover with a promo hole on the top right. One of the hardest lime green label albums to find!
THE BEATLES: HELP!
The U. S. version of the album includes the songs in the film plus selections from the orchestral score composed by Ken Thorne and performed by the George Martin Orchestra, which contains one of the first uses of the Indian sitar on a pop album.
The US release features the seven original Beatles recordings from the film plus five tracks of incidental music, gatefold picture sleeve.
