Description

The Beatles  Help vinyl LP First UK pressing with yellow and black parlophone labels and 'sold in the U.K.....' text. Mono PMC 1255 matrices XEX 549-2 XEX 550-2 KT tax code on side 2
Please read full description before bidding.
Vinyl is in mostly beautiful near mint condition. Very bright and glossy and new looking. Side 1 has barely a mark on it and is near mint. Side 2 is similar to side 1 except on track 1 there is a feelable mark that runs along the groove around the record for a couple of revolutions and at first glance looks like a quiet gap between tracks but it is not. I have tried to illustrate this in pictures 9 and 10 above as it is difficult to describe. What could have caused this I don't know. Other than this mark the rest of the side is near mint like side 1 but I will have to downgrade as VG due to this.
Audio is mostly near mint. Plays through with no jumps or sticks or loud pops. No distortion and very quiet between tracks. The only issue is during 'act naturally' when the aforementioned 'scratch' is reached there is some loud static for 1-2 seconds before returning to near perfect audio.  Side 1  - Near mint,  side 2 - Very good.
Labels are almost perfect with only a couple of light spindle marks on each side indicating very little play. No writing or marks. Near mint
Sleeve is fantastic condition. Laminate still glossy and clean with no laminate creasing. Rear flipbacks still clean and white. Spine near perfect and readable. Opening edge still very sharp. Near mint Original 'use emitex' inner is also included which has no splits or tears and only very light signs of handling. EX+

This record is mostly an archive near mint copy except for the scratch on side 2. This makes it difficult to grade and price so I have decide to auction it off with a starting price of £10.
I have 100% positive feedback so buy with confidence

Gradings;

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
