THE BEATLES, HELP, rare Roman font original stereo first issue 1965 UK LP.
PCS 3071, original stereo first issue 1965 UK black and yellow Parlophone record labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. a more unusual original 'stereo' copy, as most of these albums sold back in 1965 were in the ‘mono’ format,
2. unusual 'textured' record labels, as regular Parlophone record labels had a 'smooth / satin' finish,
3. hard to find 'Roman' font record labels, a true first issue, as later issues featured the, 'Sans Serif' font,
4. earliest record engraved ‘mother’ of, '1', on side one,
5. earliest engraved first issue stereo record matrix of 1/1,
6. the record features a ‘deep groove’ appearance, particularly noticeable when the record is ‘tilted’ to the light, a unique feature to these 'stereo' records,
7. comes with its original ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in excellent condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the period 1960s, ‘tri flip back’ design, ie ‘fold over’ edges. There are NO tears, pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good condition and is the original period EMI ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to the bottom edge at the centre.
THE RECORD: each side is in, between good++ and near very good condition. The record has remained dark and glossy. The record is made from the period 1960s thick, heavy vinyl.
The records 'engraved' matrix is - YEX 168 – 1 and YEX 169 – 1,
The records 'engraved', 'mother / stampers' are: ‘1 MP’ and ‘3 MO’.
THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays 'good++' to 'nearly 'very good', each side plays with 'crackle', 'pops' and 'ticks'. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full, powerful period 'stereo' sound.
THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent condition. There is a name written in 'pencil' very lightly on each of the record labels, but this is hardly noticeable. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. Each of the record labels are free from any 'pen' writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
