About This Items
- When The Beatles' album Help! was released in 1965 by the Japanese Odeon label, it was released as a special red record, commonly known as the "red version." This red version is unique to Japan and is highly valued among collectors. The cover design of the Japanese version is different from the British version, with the band members lined up in a row and posing as semaphore signals. However, these poses do not represent the actual "HELP" semaphore signal, but are arranged for appearance's sake to represent the letters "NUJP." BEATLESMAP.COM The first pressing of the Japanese version also had a gatefold cover and came with a poster as a bonus. BEATLESLIST.WEB.FC2.COM These features make the Japanese version of Help! a special value item. In addition, there is also a red 7-inch single, which is also highly popular as a collector's item. NASTYSTREET.NET These unique Japanese specifications and bonuses make The Beatles' red version of Help! a very valuable item for fans and collectors.
