Description

THE BEATLES - HEY JUDE ORIGINAL VINYL LP RARE PARLAPHONE UK EXPORT EDITION EX CONDITION.
What you see listed is a RARE first UK pressing of the The Beatles - Hey Jude Vinyl LP manufactured in the UK for export only, released through Parlaphone.
This version was licensed out to DECCA Records, and is noticeable by the groove on the label (EMI's pressing plant groove on the label is closer to the spindle - with this DECCA pressing the groove on the label is further away from the spindle)  it is very rare as not a great amount were pressed by DECCA.
The catalogue number P- CPCS  106 is unique to these pressings, this one box EMI Parlaphone label was distributed to countries that did not have their own pressing plants, also this was given the Parlaphone label rather than the new Apple label because it was not a registered name in those foreign countries.
This album has had approximately had 345 different releases including RE Issues (worldwide) But not the same as this one.
Track listing:
1 A Can't Buy Me Love 2 A I Should Have Know Better 3 A Paperback Writer 4 A Rain 5 A Lady Madonna 6 A Revolution   1 B Hey Jude 2 B Old Brown Shoe 3 B Don't Let me Down 4 B Ballad Of John And Yoko
At the time of doing this listing I can only find 2 copies of this for sale (on line) non in the UK, both are listed asking price of over £1000.00 to approx just over £1,100.00
This is a Unique and Rare opportunity for any BEATLES AFICIONADO or RARE vinyl collectors to bid/win/own.
GRADING: OK Here's the scoop !
Although the tracks are primarily 1960s recordings/songs this LP was released in 1970.
Vinyl has been graded in two ways, playback of vinyl both sides (I have a Pro - Ject RPM Genie 1.3 turntable with Ortofon 2M cartridge/stylus and visual grading on the vinyl and the sleeve.
I would 'normally' would grade the vinyl as VG+ however for the age and sound playback I would say the vinyl is EX+ the sleeve VG
Side 1 Tracks 1 & 5 have a visual slight rubbing look on the vinyl, they are not scratches within the vinyl and there is no impact on the sound playback.
Side 2 Track 1 (Hey Jude) some rubbing on the vinyl one small scratch quite light (non feel-able and almost not noticeable) I personally could not hear anything (clicking) on sound playback, Track 3 rubbing, however again no effect on playback not scratched.
Sleeve grading is very good there was sellotape at the top and the bottom and inside opening of the cover, this was very dry so I removed it and then carefully cleaned (I would say lovingly) the dried dust left by the removal of the sellotape, some minor sellotape removal primarily on the back sleeve, and just on the inside sleeve as pictured, however I have done a little repair job on patching this up as seen in the photos in here.

Beautifully Laminated sleeve (still very shiny) printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. CPCS 106 Sleeve has a few storage creases reasonable wear for the age of this sleeve.
I can ship to UK and  worldwide, however this would be Special Delivery Tracked and To Be Signed For.
One final note, Usually vinyl LP's (in particular) have a lot of spindle marks on the labels, however on this label I can only see a few, meaning this LP not been played a lot, labels are beautifully clean.

Thank you for taking time out in looking.
