First pressing. August 6, 1965, mono. Black label with yellow logo and silver print.
“The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” prnted at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text.
Variation A with Sans-Serif label font and the * credit indicator for “I Need You” placed to the
right of the song title with a space between: I Need You *.

Sleeve condition: Fair. Intact and front of sleeve relatively clean and unfaded but plenty of wear to edges and corners, rear of sleeve rather grubby with two pen marks and part of the bottom seam torn away.
Record condition: VG. Some low level rumble/crackle evident here and there but plays very well with no skips and no loud pop and crackle, though the quality of the mono sound seems a little dull, possibly because of excessive play!
There is no original Emitex sleeve within, was replaced long ago with a plain white sleeve.
Overall a quite decent vinyl copy in a not so decent sleeve, but if you want a 1965 1st pressing mono LP for your collection it has been priced accordingly.
