This is the UK 1st press of 'Help!' by The Beatles. This press is complete with the original 'Gramophone Co Ltd' and 'Sold In UK' label text, the earliest 2/2 matrix, the original Emitex inner sleeve and the earliest 'Patents Pending' outline 'Mono' Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl is absolutely sensational, every track gleams. You can twist and turn this album under every light and it still looks superb. You will just spot a few very slight hairlines, but these are largely insiginificant as it is in the most wonderful lightly played condition. The label is testament to its original superb state. The yellow and black Parlophone label is exceptionally clean. The black is bold, the yellow is bright and the text is exceptionally sharp. There is just the very slightest spindle wear. The record is complete with its original Emitex polylined inner in Excellent condition.
We very carefully played this album and we are pleased to say it sounds as good as it looks. It has exceptional audio seperation and is extremely clear, rich and virtually silent in all but the quietest moments. It lies completely flat on the turntable.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. The colours are bold, the laminate has a stunning mirrorlike shine and the picture is exceptionally clear. There are a couple of the slightest laminate creases. The flipbacks are still complete and sealed. The unlaminated back is still extremely clean and remarkably bright. The text is sharp and the black is bold. The earliest pinched spine is firm with clear black text on a clean white background
