Description

THE BEATLES Help! PMC1255 - original 1965 UK 14-track MONO vinyl LP

Black labels with yellow Parlophone logo, silver print using Times New Roman font. 'The Gramophone Co Ltd.' perimeter print and 'Sold in UK' text on both sides. Band name appears in small type with 'Northern Songs, NCB' credit printed below the band name on Side One. KT tax code.

Front laminated flipback sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse, with outline 'mono' notation on the front. 'Patents pending' text and 6509 date in the bottom right corner on the reverse. Includes original tracing paper-lined 'Emitex' inner sleeve.

Matrices:
Side One XEX 549 - 2

Side Two XEX 550 - 2

Mother/Stamper:
Side One 6 / LM
Side Two 2 / TD

Condition:

Sleeve grades as VG+ - light creasing to the laminate and a little edge wear, mainly to the opening on the front. Matt card on the reverse shows a small crease across the top left corner, a little ringwear and a couple of small, faint stains (to the right of George). Nice tight flipbacks with clearly legible spine print. Inner is clean with light creasing only (consistent with the thin paper stock used) and no splits.
Labels have some spindle marking around the centre hole, but no serious wear. Bright and clean with the tax code clearly visible on Side One.
There is some evidence of play with a heavy stylus towards the end of I've Just Seen A Face. Vinyl is otherwise in great shape with just a handful of light marks on either side, retaining a very nice gloss.
