THE BEATLES: Hey Jude / Revolution (´68 / orig. German issue / ODEON/APPLE O 23880 / scarce 2nd pressing with "apple" labels / this 2nd pressing was made a few months after the 1st pressing, which had green "Odeon" labels / in this case the 2nd pressing is much rarer than the 1st pressing, most likely only ca. 5% to 10% of all copies were manufactured with "Apple" labels / an "Apple" label sleeve does not exist: at the time, when the labels were changed from Odeon to Apple, EMI did use up the old sleeves (quite obviously they had made more sleeves than vinyl records!) and only replaced the labels (another interesting fact: the "old" Odeon catalogue number with an "O" prefix was also retained, which on one hand was logical, as the numbers of the sleeve and of the record did remain identical that way, but which on the other hand was a bit strange, as with very few exceptions all Apple records were manufactured with a "1C 006-...." prefix!) / so the p/s isn´t a real rarity, as this is just the "common" p/s, that´s been used for all copies of "Hey Jude", but records with these "Apple" labels really don´t turn up too frequently and consequently they´re in somewhat higher demand than original "Odeon" pressings!)

DESCRIPTION:
there´s a small and very "soft" stain on the right side at the top of the front p/s (the back sleeve has the same design) / the corners and the top of the p/s are a bit bent / only light (to very light) ringwear / the vinyl looks a bit matt in parts, but the record has only a few light hairlines on the surface, there are no "serious" scratches / the labels are cleanWHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
