Description:

Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring a SEALED Beatles record.  BRAND NEW.   
Once opened, I'd expect it to play very well.
If any of you Beatles experts has additional info that can be gained from just the pictures provided, I'd appreciate your input.  I've tried to give appropriate pictures with my scanner of relevant areas for pressing locations, etc.
So this is your chance to own a unique item at a reasonable price. It is further described below, please take the time to read before bidding.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).


Here is a summary of the record(s):
Artist: The Beatles
Title:  Hey Jude Record:  Presumed black vinyl with the original shine. Labels:  Unknown since the item is still sealed.  Possible black label with color band, or purple, or orange. Presume no spindle marks, no pen/pencil marks, no stickers.    Trailing wax:  Unknown since it is still sealed. Inner sleeve(s):  Presumed original sleeve.
Cover:  Corners are slightly worn, more so on the bottom outer corner.    No stickers.  No pen/pencil marks.  Some slight general/ring wear.  Breathe holes on lower portion of shrink wrap front and back.  Back side breathe holes, the one on the right is part of a less than 1" break in the shrink wrap. Rate the cover  VG+(excellent), maybe a little better. You can assign your own grade based on my comments.
Comments:  I'd expect it to play very close to mint since it is still sealed.

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people: NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective) VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise
I normally ship single LP records in a 13x13x2 box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 1 oz. Shipping is 1-2 pounds Media Rate, $5.13 + $3.20 box = $8.33.  I have to buy those boxes individually.
Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 8 oz. Shipping is $5.13 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $3.94 box/tape/packing = $9.07.  I have to buy those boxes individually.
I'm shipping to you at cost.  If you feel it is too much, please look elsewhere.  E-bay will charge me 10-15% of the shipping as well.
This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box. If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $8.33. This includes online tracking. Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end. Insurance / other methods of shipping cost extra. Payment received within ten days of auction ending.
