Description
For sale is the first U.K. export press of the Beatles compilation album ‘Hey Jude’ on the dark green Apple label.
These very early copies had two errors on the side a label. Paper Back instead of Paperback, and Revolutions instead of Revolution
The original sleeve is VG+ on the front and spine but VG- on the rear due to laminate creases
The record has obviously been played a lot with scuffs and light scratches on both sides. Nothing that causes skips sticks or jumps however
Side 1 plays VG with occasional crackles, mainly noticeable between tracks and some of the quieter passages
Side two has a few light clicks as well as crackles - mainly on track 1. Graded VG-
Therefore, in no way an audiophile copy, but a playable and enjoyable listen as well as being a very early copy with the label errors.
Nice early 1GO and 1GD stampers
