Description
- The Beatles: "I FAVOLOSI BEATLES", LP ITA MONO 1969 -
- EMI black label: PMCQ 31503 - 3c 062 04181 M
- matrix: XEX 447 1/04181 M A (side 1) - XEX 448 1 (side 2 omitted EMI code) - (4/2/64)
Hard to find last MONO issue of the album, released by the EMI in 1969, distributed in front laminated sleeve made by "GRAFICA GALLATI - COGLIATE" with flipback, EMI logo+CARISCH cat. code on front and EMI+CARISCH mono cat. codes + group's INTRO on back; full white spine (later blue on the top area); black EMI labels have boxed "BIEM" text and double cat. & matrix codes.
"I FAVOLOSI" STORY: first issue was released in 1963 and distributed on CARISCH/Parlophon dark red label only in mono edition; original sleeves are laminated on both side with group's introduction on back. In 1965 the CARISCH label became black, but the sleeve doesn't change. In 1968 the EMI/Parlophone logo appears on the sleeves; first EMI issues use surplus of Carisch mono label with original cat. code (PMCQ). In 1969 the EMI black label appears with the double code (PMCQ + 3c 062-M): CARISCH code was definitively erased in 1970 on the first stereo italian edit.
CONDITIONS:
COVER: (n/m-) no sticker, no writing, no yellowing on back (!), the laminate is bright and complete.
SPINE: (n/m-) all text is perfect and unworm.
LABELS: (n/m) clean and intact.
VINYL: (visual) (n/m-) bright and intact as new; a couple of fingerprint visible under strong light; (audio) (n/m) no jumps, no repeats, no scratches, no pops, no background noise.
