The rarest of all of the Vee-Jay Mono label variations, featuring the brackets Vee-Jay Records logo and silver text. Based on the Beatles Price Guide this label variation is estimated on average at $800. This copy doesn't only contain the rarest label variation, but also has a never seen before extremely heavy weight plate 200g (!!!) vinyl, resembling the early pressings of Blue Note albums. This is the first album of The Beatles in the US, released in January 1964, with the corrected version released in February, by Vee Jay Records. Original 1st print all black without the colorband label with the small Vee-Jay brackets logo and silver text. The Beatles collection is never complete without this issue. Original authentic thick cardboard high-quality print glossy slick single-type paste over column title back cover. The cover is in a protective "Sealed For Your Protection" distributor baggy with a blue "$3.98" price seal and white "2.87 Our Price" price sticker. Original Vee-Jay VJLP 1062 / 63-3402 catalog number 1.25' diameter pressing ring silver print brackets Vee-Jay logo very rare variation label. Centered song titles and credits, including the "Coffin-King" misprint, as oppose to the correct spelling "Goffin-King", along with "Microgroove" and "Longplaying" banners. The full matrix numbers are as follows Side 1: 63-3402-1 2-6-64 URJ A AudioMatrix / Side 2: 63-3403-1 2-6-64 URJ A AudioMatrix. The vinyl contains the "AudioMatrix" stamp, the identifier of Audiomatrix Inc., New York, along with a handwritten manufacture date stamp "2-6-64" on both sides in the trail-off vinyl, and "URJ" stamp in the dead wax, identifying this pressing as a Universal Recording Studios mastering. Incredibly rare issue pressed and manufactured at the Southern Plastics Pressing Plant in Nashville, Tennessee. Red background Vee-Jay Records inner sleeve with 30 color photos of other Vee-Jay releases on each side.

CONDITION:

COVER - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) It's extremely hard to find a cover of Introducing the Beatles in such a great condition. The distributor baggy has preserved it very well and the cover doesn't contain ring wear or scuffs on the front or back. The front cover has a vivid sharp 1st pressing print and bright white back cover paste over slick doesn't contain any staining or age discoloration and is fully intact, even at the mouth area. The cover doesn't have any splits, only having some very light corner scuffs. Just like the cover, the protective baggy is in great condition, only having some slight tear at the bottom of the front cover.

VINYL - GOOD PLUS-VERY GOOD (VG) The vinyl contains numerous surface hairlines, marks and scuffs, retaining its original factory gloss.

LABELS - VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) Considering that even if you manage to find another copy of this label variation, it's most likely its labels will have a severe wear. However, the labels of this copy are in very nice condition and don't have any serious wear, only containing multiple spindle marks that can be seen under a bright light source along with some very light scuffing at the spindle hole.

VEE-JAY INNER SLEEVE - VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) The sleeve doesn't have any missing pieces, only having some very light edge splits.

POLICY:

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid.
