The Holy Grail of every Beatles collection, an incredibly rare Introducing the Beatles Version 1 Stereo with a withdrawn 1st track lineup, including 'Love Me Do' and 'P.S I Love You'. The very early 1st run "Ad Back" version thick cardboard cover with twenty five "Other Fine Album Of Significant Interest" Vee Jay releases on the back. One of the 6000 copies made with ”Printed In U.S.A.” in the lower left hand corner of the front cover near the spine. Original 1st print colorblind Vee Jay VJLP 1062 / 63-3402 catalog numbers 2.75’ diameter deep groove pressing ring black print oval VJ logo “Long Playing”, “Microgroove” label with a multicolored spectrum (“rainbow”) band along the label’s edge and oval version logo (The Bee Jay logo is encircled by a white oval line. Original thick, heavy plate, glossy vinyl pressing with the 1st matrix numbers and original ‘AudioMatrix’ machine stamp in the trail-off vinyl, which is considered a proof of authenticity of the 1st pressing. The vinyl has a unique 1st release date “6-28-63” stamp handwritten in the trail-off vinyl. The full matrix numbers are as follows Side 1: 63-3402S A ARP AudioMatrix Side 2: 63-3403S A 6-28-63 (Stamped) ARP AudioMatrix. The cover is in Excellent condition, very clean, without any hints of ring wear, writing or splits. The front cover has a very early 1st press high-quality print with a stapled price tag, containing a stamped date “1/64”, at the top left corner. I’d grade the cover as Near Mint Minus, if it wasn’t due to some scuffing at the bottom edge and wear at the top and bottom left corners. The Ad Back cover contains right and vivid color and is in truly pristine condition, especially considering the fact that the majority of these copies are found with a heavy ring wear and scuffing. I grade the vinyl as Excellent Minus. It’s in a great condition with a glossy factory lacquer, only having a few very minor hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve. It’s one of the best copies of this issue I’ve ever seen. The labels are super clean without any wear, scuffs or spine marks. The album comes with the original Vee Jay Records “Other Fine Albums Of Significant Interest” inner sleeve with 50 adverts for other Vee Jay releases in Near Mint Minus condition without having any splits..
