Description

THE BEATLES - INTRODUCING THE BEATLES LP
RELEASED IN 1964 ON VEE JAY RECORDS, VJLP 1062.

***THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC MONO VEEJAY PRESSING!***

RECORD GRADE: VERY GOOD (VG) - Although there are multiple scuffs and scratches, including one feelable hairline scratch on the third track of side one but the record plays surprisingly good with no skips and light to moderate surface noise. The original analog warmth and clarity is present on my turntable with a play grade of VG+!

COVER GRADE: VERY GOOD (VG)
- The over has edge/corner wear, some ring wear, writing on the back cover and about a 3 inch seam split in the lower right corner. The spine is in pretty nice shape, as displayed in the image.

GRADING SCALE:

There is no Mint grade as it does not exist. Even a sealed record can have minor flaws!

Near mint (NM) - Record looks like it was just opened and is in perfect, unplayed condition. Thee are no visible or audible flaws. Cover will have no visible wear whatsoever. It should be immaculate, as if it were just taken out of the original shrink wrap or still in the original shrink wrap with absolutely no visible wear.

Near mint minus (NM-) - Record is in very near new condition with at most, a very light scuff or two. Record should play like new with only the very slightest of audible surface noise audible acceptable. Cover shows very little to no wear at all. Only the slightest of noticeable wear is acceptable such as one slightly worn corner.

Excellent (EX) - Record is in great shape and looks seldom played. There may be a few very light scuffs but little to no surface noise should be present on playback. Cover looks like it was well looked after with only minor wear from handling over time or shelf wear. Ring wear is not acceptable unless it is barely visible. Cover should still be bright and crisp. No writing is acceptable unless it is very small and the rest of the cover is near mint.

Very Good Plus (VG+) - Record is in pretty nice shape and should play with only light noise, mostly noticeable between tracks. There may be some light scuffs and a few light surface scratches visible. Cover has mostly light wear that may include light edge/corner wear, light to moderate ring wear, some minor writing/staining and/or small seam splits.

Very Good (VG) - Record has been well played. It should play without skipping or sticking but with a significant amount of noise (hiss, pops, crackle, etc). Cover will be well worn with probable edge/corner wear, ring wear, light tears/staining, and/or writing/tape, etc. Full seam splits are not acceptable, nor is major wear from water damage, intentional bending, etc.

Good (G) - Record should play through but will more than likely have a high noise level. Slight skips are acceptable. Visually the record will most likely have a lot of scuffs and surface marks. Cover has significant wear such as seam splits, writing, heavy ring wear, stains, tears, etc. This is close on a seriously damaged cover, with the only unacceptable wear being significant tears, holes and major water damage.

Poor (P) - Record may not be playable. If so, there will mostly likely be a high noise level throughout. Visually the record is obviously damaged, warped, very scratched or possibly cracked. Cover is damaged and significantly worn with probable complete seam splits, tears, writing, water damage, etc.

Thanks a lot for viewing my auction!

I have 100% positive feedback because I always grade the records I list honestly and accurately.

Have you ever won a record that was described as being in near mint or mint condition which in actuality was only in VG or VG+ condition at best?

Although I have had mostly positive experiences with records online,  I know how disappointing it can be as a vinyl listener and lover to receive a poorly graded LP.  Because of this, I make every effort to ensure that this does not happen with items I put up for auction.

I very, very rarely use a grade of Near Mint (NM) since very few records and even fewer covers that are not factory sealed are actually in near mint condition. Even with records that appear like new with no scuffs, scratches or other visible markings, I would more likely grade the record Near Mint Minus (NM-) in  case there is a barely visible faint mark somewhere on the record or it doesn't play near mint.

Please bid with confidence that the record AND cover in this auction will be described accurately and honestly.

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!!
