This is the original Mono version with "Please Please Me" and "Ask Me Why" on the back cover with the bracketed Vee Jay logo and color band on the label.

Record label has LONG PLAYING and MICROGROOVE in uppercase, Long Playing is two words. Has SIDE 1 and SIDE 2 designations.  These distinct styles indicate originality and version.  Without the "Long Playing" and Microgroove" designations, the record is a later pressing.

CONDITION:
VINYL:
This LP has been played but to the eye, it was clearly not played very much and certainly with great care.  Incredibly clean and well cared for.  Visually it appears in top condition.  We do not listen to the entire LP but a sampling confirms aurally what the eye sees visually:  Great copy.  Generic white inner.

COVER:
Carefully stored and properly protected, this cover has only one significant blemish visible to the eye. The original owner placed his name on the top right corner of the front cover.  It appears that there was an attempt to remove the ink which resulted in a "smudged, faded" outcome.  Some minor edge and corner wear might be detected by the photos.  The back cover is excellent, bright white with no signs of significant wear.  No splits, stickers holes, tears, etc. Spine is clean and readable with minimal wear.   Note the 3 photos show the spine to include some denting of the area around the LP number.  Other than the issue on the front this is a great vivid cover in rare condition for the age.

Most records are visually inspected and then washed and cleaned.  Higher valued 45 records will include audio samples of the exact record being listed.  Our photos are also original ones of the exact item.  We describe condition and version to the best of our ability but the seller is not a records grading expert so please inquire in advance for additional details or concerns concerning quality or version of a particular record.  We do not always listen or grade but we do offer as much visible information as possible. We always take multiple clear, close photos and invite questions about quality or version of an item in advance of bidding.  Please await our invoice prior to payment.  This is particularly important with international purchases as the value of the final price effects the method of shipment.  See below.

Our refund policy is based on total buyer satisfaction so we only refund full payment upon return.  We do not offer post purchase partial refunds.   As our listings always include clear photos and audio, the responsibility for return postage is with the buyer.

SHIPPING:
USPS is our carrier.  We ship Media Mail domestically in the US.  We do combine shipping on US shipping but that is not always an option with International.  We use 1st International but there are limits on weight so please await an invoice should you purchase more than one item.
